About UniLodge Metro Adelaide

UniLodge Metro Adelaide is a student housing in Adelaide that offers single and shared apartments. All units feature a single bed, a bedside table, shelves, a wardrobe, ample storage, a private bathroom, a study desk with a chair, and a kitchenette.

Other services include a games room, lounges, parking, a gym, a pool, laundry, on-site staff, study rooms, vending machines, an outdoor area, an observation deck, and photocopying and printing.

Adelaide, the capital of South Australia, is also the biggest city in the state and the sixth most populous metropolis in the entire country. The Mount Lofty Ranges to the east and the Gulf of St. Vincent to the west encircle Adelaide, which is located on the Adelaide Plains, north of the Fleurieu Peninsula.

The building is located on Victoria Street, just a short walk from the centre of the city. It’s surrounded by plenty of interesting and exciting locations, including eatery spots, entertainment venues, and other places of interest. If you’re craving a mouth-watering pizza dish, Parlamento restaurant is nearby, and it makes the best Italian food in the neighbourhood! Golden Boy is another nearby eatery offering delicious Thai food in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Concubine is also a nearby Asian restaurant serving Chinese cuisine in a lantern-lit setting.

When you need to do some grocery shopping, Minimart On Hindley is a minute away, and it has many products at decent prices to cater to your needs. After a busy day on campus, you can take a casual evening stroll at Helen Mayo Park, where you may enjoy the spacious green fields and exquisite scenery. Over the weekend, you may enjoy a night out with your pals and watch the latest box office movies at the HOYTS Norwood movie theatre. You may also go on a shopping spree at Adelaide Central Plaza Shopping Centre, where you’ll find many shops, stores, and boutiques. Another thing you can do during the weekend is visit the Migration Museum, where you can explore the history of Australia and its different cultures and civilisations.

*Before you move into UniLodge @ Metro Adelaide, a security bond equal to 4-6 weeks of rent will be payable.

horrible experience. I lived here for 1.5 year and was relieved right after moving out. not only me, but 3 of my friends also hated this place. dont stay here. my advice is to pay extra money somewhere else but at least enjoy your stay in Adelaide. one review is not enough to express how not nice the place is. 1. extremely loud, could not sleep at night because of clubs and bars located at hindley street. even during covid it still remains loud. walls are thin too. if you have a night before exam and your neighbors are playing computer games/watching tv loud/talking on the phone the next apartment or having a night with friends (even worst), forget it. your exam performance will not be good. 2. living here gives constant headaches and bad moods and many other unpleasant emotions, this place seem scarce, depressed, dirty, grey, not renovated and doesn't give nice vibes. 3. my friend called people who work here are extremely "avaricious". By now I've stayed in Adelaide for 2.5 years and have never yet met this kind of attitude somewhere else. They will charge you for everything. For example, my friends went for event but last minute I had plans and could not come. They charged me even though all the food was gone in an hour. They will charge you 5-7$ even if you cancel out the barbecue which I recall was just 1 cheap sausage with some bread on the top of that. You have to pay for a huge hard to carry vacuum machine, cleaning fees are also huge. Sometimes I had to wait for maintainence for years if smth was broken. When me and my roomie moved out they charged a big sum of money with no explanation. I didn't even bother to ask why since my experience living here shown me that the staff here will always find you a reason to charge extra. Internet used to be 100gb monthly which was not always enough. You had to pay extra. Unilodge is not trying to make your stay comfortable. all they care is your money. They make free food and other low quality not fun events each week but its not worth it at all. I would have rather payed less for rent. Even though they keep claiming about some high cleaning standards, when you moving in the place is already dirty, full of hair and trash inside and downside of the sofa. 3. flying 3 cm cockroaches into the windows was not pleasant experience either. 4. at summer is hot, winter is cold. the ac and heater will stay too far from a bed, the electricity is costly. survive however you can. living here made me sick all the time but when I moved out I never caught a single cold. 5. some staff at reception are nice and welcoming, some are extremely not friendly. 6. on friday and saturday nights the porch of the building becomes dirty and sticky since clubbing ppl tend to make a crowd and eat kfc/mc right on the stairs of unilodge doing a mess . its impossible to leave the building without people keeping you out of the way.

I’ve been living here for 1.5 years. More affordable compared to some other uni accommodations, good room spaces and really great common room areas to chill and mix around. Also, short distance from the uni, shopping centres and is very accessible with public transport. The building is well maintained. Community Spirit Program is really great with benefits like free food and movie tickets. Good security as well! Any issues are quickly resolved by the unilodge staff. Would recommend!

Great location, staff at the office were helpful, terrible apartments, no rent relief provided during the covid 19 crisis, even though I was a long term resident (lived there for 2 and a half years before March), ruined their entire reputation wouldn't recommend to anybody
