Residents are not allowed to cancel their leases. If they need to get out of their lease contract for any reason, they must find a qualified re-leaser who must apply and sign over the same legally binding documents that the original tenant signed. This is different than subleasing, there is a fee associated with it, and nothing is final and the original resident is not released of the legal and financial obligations of the housing contract that they signed until the new resident has signed and qualified their lease and paid their first installment.

The staff is very friendly and I like the environment. It is a big pricey, but good location and just down the road from campus and a lot of food places in west midtown. They do raise the rates every year and add on a lot of unnecessary fees and sometimes it can be a hassle to deal with the management. The paint on the walls is pretty cheap and the rooms are pretty small. But overall because of proximity to campus and some amenities like the rooftop and gym, I'd recommend it.

The cleanliness of the facility is incredible. Not to mention, the facilities provided by Paloma are very convenient and easy to use. The atmosphere of the entire building is incredible and I would definitely recommend living here to any college student!

As a Georgia Tech student, the location is hard to beat as it’s right across from campus. It’s also very convenient to have a fully furnished apartment so I don’t need to buy furniture. The amenities are nice and I’m happy that they are open 24/7 again. Downsides are the cost (probably wouldn’t have renewed if I hadn’t signed during one of their deals), several maintenance problems in the unit and the building, and the furniture isn’t the best quality.

Although this past year was rough on a lot of students around the country, being able to live in Paloma was a highlight. The units come furnished which made it ten times easier to move in/out. There are also really cool amenities that we have access to. They are really helpful in the leasing office and the maintenance requests get resolved rather quickly. Cons: the rooms are quite small, and my doors hit eachother which was frustrating. The walls are thin so I can hear everything around me.

I'm the mother of a tech student who has lived at Paloma (Theory/Signature) West Midtown for the past two years and will be living there again this year. We have found the office staff helpful and responsive. I'm very pleased with how they have handled the renewal process. From year one to year two. They made an effort to keep her in her existing room so that we didn't have to move her out and then back in. We are lucky to have the same situation this year. We have had almost no maintenance requests. The building is an easy walk to campus, and my daughter has always felt safe. I wish there was some reserved visitor parking, but that is not an easy thing to get anywhere down town.
