The Occupant may terminate this agreement prior to the commencement of the Occupancy Period by giving the Owner at least three (3) weeks written notice prior to the commencing date of the Occupancy Period together with the Cancellation Fee. If the Occupant fails to provide the written notice within the time specified in this clause and the Occupant still wishes to terminate this agreement, clauses 7.2 and 7.3 apply.
The Occupant may request early termination of this agreement for any reason prior to the expiry of the Occupancy Period by giving the Owner at least (3) weeks written notice of the Occupant’s intention to vacate the Room and specify the date on which the Occupant will vacate the Room. The written notice must include a completed ‘Early Termination Form’, a copy of which can be obtained from the Dayman Apartments Office.
The Occupant’s obligations to pay under this agreement continue until the earlier of:
the date that the Occupant pays the Owner the Occupancy Fee in full together with any additional charges and/or fees payable by the Occupant up to and including the expiry date of the Occupancy Period; and the date that the Owner confirms this agreement is terminated, in its sole discretion, and the Occupant is released from its continuing obligations to pay
The Owner may charge the Occupant a Cancellation Fee, if it releases the Occupant from its obligations pursuant to clause 7.4.2. The Owner may also remove the rental discount for booking a longer period of stay, so that the rental rate would revert back to the new booking period with the termination end date.
