Lean back and relax – in this quiet, stylish accommodation. The former stable of the farm complex was renovated in 2025/26 as a guesthouse. Two apartments have been created here with separate and distant entrances and gardens/courtyard as well as parking spaces. The apartments are surrounded by fields and fruit trees; the Haarstrang invites you to hikes, bike tours, and golfing. Your Accommodation It is located in the front Sauerland, near the Bismarck Tower on the Haarstrang. Tastefully restored and designed former stable, with high-quality new furniture, as well as antique furnishings. On the open-plan ground floor is the well-equipped, new kitchen (fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven, induction hob, extractor hood, kettle, coffee machine, crockery, pots, cutlery) with a dining table for two guests. Oil & vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper & herbs, tea, coffee & milk are available for you. The living room with its cozy couch and other seating adjoins. For an entertaining evening, you will find a 55-inch Smart TV here. Further rooms include a guest toilet and a storage room with a washing machine, dryer & vacuum cleaner. You reach the upper floor via 13 steps. Here is the bedroom with a double bed (160x200) and a wardrobe (100x200), the bathroom with shower, as well as a small office/reading area with a desk and office chair. In total, 55 sqm of living space are available to you. In front of your doorstep, you can relax on the terrace or enjoy a nice meal on two wooden chairs at the table under the parasol. Guest Access Your cottage includes a newly designed courtyard, through which you reach your own front door. The courtyard was the old threshing floor of the main house. Now it offers – where cattle once stood – a modern possibility under the shed to charge & park all e-vehicles. The cozy courtyard is mediterraneously graveled and decorated, with a view of the large, newly planted sand bed by the old boundary wall. Relax, have breakfast outside, or make yourself comfortable on summer evenings on the terrace, in the ever-setting sun. 1 deckchair invites you to relax. Other relevant information Upon request, the exceptional private garden of the farm, designed with great love for English garden culture since 2020, can be visited. In the former farmhouse, a garden with color-coordinated rooms was designed in the ruins. Many island beds on the theme of climate change, large sand bed installations, as well as a fruit & vegetable garden (still under development) in the old stable are an inspiration for garden enthusiasts. Embedded on 2 hectares of land (on which a walk can be taken by arrangement), we, Claudia and Frank, live in the listed bakehouse of the farm.
