How can I pay the initial charges?
The admission fee can be paid by card. All other initial payments, including the first rent payment and the deposit, must be paid via bank transfer.

When must the booking and initial payments be completed?
The booking must be concluded, and the admission fee must be paid within 5 days. The deposit must be transferred at least 14 days before the start of the rental period.

How are monthly rent payments collected?
Monthly rent payments are collected via SEPA direct debit.

When are monthly rent payments collected?
Monthly rent payments are collected on the 1st of each month from a European bank account via SEPA direct debit.

How can I terminate my rental agreement?
Long-term contracts

You can terminate a long-term contract with three months’ notice at the end of the second contract year.

Example: For a contract running from October 1, 2022, to September 30, 2025, notice must be submitted by June 30, 2024, to end the contract on September 30, 2024.

How must I submit my termination notice?
Your termination notice must:

• Be submitted in writing according to §126 BGB.

• Include your original handwritten signature.

Accepted submission methods:

• In person at the residence reception.

• By post to the designated administration address.

Not accepted:

• Email.

• Telephone.

• Scanned copies.

• Digital or electronic signatures.
  
  

When is my termination notice considered received?

• In person: The receipt date is the date confirmed at reception.

• By post: The receipt date is when the notice is received by the administration, not the postmark date.
  
  

Can I end my contract early with a replacement tenant?
Yes, you may request early termination by finding a suitable replacement tenant.

Requirements:

• Start the process at least four weeks before the end of the month you wish to move out.

• The replacement tenant must meet eligibility requirements and provide required documents.

• You must submit the completed replacement tenant form and supporting documents.

Your request will be reviewed, and if approved, a new agreement will be issued. You remain responsible for rent and all tenancy obligations until the process is legally completed and you receive official confirmation of release.
