How can I pay the initial charges?
The admission fee can be paid by card. All other initial payments, including the first rent payment and the deposit, must be paid via bank transfer.
When must the booking and initial payments be completed?
The booking must be concluded, and the admission fee must be paid within 5 days. The deposit must be transferred at least 14 days before the start of the rental period.
How are monthly rent payments collected?
Monthly rent payments are collected via SEPA direct debit.
When are monthly rent payments collected?
Monthly rent payments are collected on the 1st of each month from a European bank account via SEPA direct debit.
Cancellation Policy
Can a long-term tenancy agreement be terminated at any time?
No. Long-term contracts cannot be cancelled during the initial 12-month period. After the first year, a tenant may terminate the agreement by providing one month’s notice, effective at the end of the month.
What is the required method for submitting a termination notice?
Tenants must send a signed termination letter through the contact form, by post, or as an email attachment. A standard text email does not qualify as a valid notice. An official template is available to complete this step.
Are there any administrative tasks required after termination is confirmed?
Yes. Once the cancellation has been formally confirmed, the tenant is required to inform Linthorst Energy directly.
Is it possible to cancel a short-term rental contract early?
No. Short-term contracts operate on a fixed-term basis and cannot be terminated early.
