For the 26-27 academic year, payments for both the first and final months' rent must be completed in advance.

Yes, a security deposit equal to one month's rent must be paid to secure the accommodation.

Under what conditions can these payments be refunded?

A full refund of the security deposit and any advance rent payments will be issued if the cancellation complies with the valid cancellation criteria (such as the cooling-off window).

Can a booking be cancelled immediately after signing without penalty?

Yes. A 24-hour cooling-off period applies directly after the agreement is signed. Cancelling within this window ensures a full refund of the security deposit and advance rent without needing to find a replacement tenant.

What is required to terminate the contract early after the cooling-off period?

A 60-day written notice must be submitted. Rent must still be paid during these 60 days, and a replacement tenant must be found to assume responsibility for the contract.

What happens if assistance is needed to find a replacement tenant?

Management can help find a replacement for a €750 finder's fee, which must be paid before the marketing and replacement process begins.

When is the original contract officially cancelled and refunded?

The contract is cleared once the new replacement tenant signs the agreement, pays their deposit and advance rent, and checks into the property. Any overpaid rent (minus utility debts or property damage) will then be refunded, but the original security deposit is kept as a cancellation charge.

Can specific room locations or numbers be selected?

Preferences can be submitted during booking. The property team will attempt to fulfil these requests based on real-time availability.

How does the check-in process work?

Move-in instructions are emailed 2-4 weeks before arrival. Residents must choose an arrival slot, finish all required documentation, and clear any outstanding balances prior to move-in. The support team is available for assistance.

How can a stay be extended for the next academic year?

The housing team should be contacted early to request a lease renewal. They will assist in booking either the same room or an alternative option within the building.

Is it possible to move in before the official contract start date?

Early check-in requests must be submitted in advance. These are subject to room readiness and availability, and extra fees may apply.
