The staff at The MetalWorks made my stay the most perfect stay it could have been. I relied on the staff at the Metalworks for information about the site, local information and general assistance. They were always on hand to ask questions, always happy to help out with anything I needed, and generally the friendliest, kindest, most generous group of people I could have hoped to meet. They went above and beyond for me over the course of my entire stay and never hesitated to sort things out for me that came up. I can't put into words how much better it made my stay and how I managed to use my time here usefully knowing how well I was being looked after. Kudos to them all - I can't express my gratitude enough so thank you from the bottom of my heart!

they allow( a sub-contractor?) to let rooms during summer who provides an abhorrent service, Had to wait 2 hrs in the heat and walk back and forth to get finally checked in despite a visible knee injury - and apparently I was lucky - family with small children waited with me and they got checked into dirty rooms with unmade beds, -looks like someone with a flash car and smooth small talk is only interested in making a fast buck, can't even be bothered to give correct description of the route from entrance to room. The price and location suits me for my purpose for 4 nights otherwise I would raise more complaints. :-(

If you can find a great price. This is great accommodation and very affordable. However, the customer service is basically non existent and there is no-one on site to talk to if you have any problems. The customer service is atrocious. following on from the reply from the accommodation below: I contacted the accommodation asking to extend my stay by 3 days. It took them ages to reply and I had to go from back and forth from zeni ensuite to Their phone number usually doesn't work because there is no-one on the line. Then, I finally got a response saying I could extend 3 days so I rearranged all my housing plans factoring this in. But after hours and hours they said they couldnt extend my stay. This poor customer service is terrible and has caused me a lot of unnecessary stress.
in the last week
I had asked if I could stay longer for extra four days prior to the day of me leaving and refused even though there was a week until the students arrived. I was also rushed out of the accommodation on my final day and was not told there was a check out time. Not very accommodating at all

I don't know where to start. I have lived in student accommodations before and this one is by far the worst. 1. You are facing the street, so you will have constant car noise. Also, knowing that this is the road that leads to the hospital you will also constantly have AMBULANCES with their alarms going off. So you will never have a peaceful night. 2. You cannot move any furniture and the bed is extremely uncomfortable. 3. The isolation is terrible. The bed, for my part, sticks to the window, which itself has a sort of grille that circulates air from outside, so you will have a constant (icy in winter) draught. You can't move this grid and as I mentioned before you can't move your bed either. 4. The windows can only be opened vertically and not more than 2cm and only from the top. In summer or when it is hot, it is therefore impossible to ventilate. This also applies to the kitchen. Then no more frying is possible. Indeed the hood works very badly and impossible to ventilate. 5. In a flat for four you will only be given a mini freezer and a mini fridge. It's as if they've never filled a fridge in their lives. 6. This year no common space was open and yet we paid the same price, they might think about profitability a lot. 7. Last but not least, the buildings and the layout of the buildings are absolutely not made for you to meet people. This is the only residence where THERE IS NO STUDENT LIFE AT ALL within it (between the different flats, buildings). I therefore advise you, dear students, if you want to meet a lot of people, to turn to other accommodations such as Jaratt Haul or Tennis Court. There are few good points however. 1. If you want to complain about anything or if you are not feeling well, please go to the reception. Indeed they are not going to take the first step but once you go and talk to them, they will try their best to make the situation better. 2. The rooms, desks and beds are large. 3. I got a free water bottle.
