When do I need to pay my course fees?
Course fees are payable after you sign the Standard PEI-Student Contract.

Are there any application fees?
Yes. A non-refundable application fee applies depending on your course level:
S$109: Certificate / Diploma / Foundation / Advanced Diploma / Higher Diploma
S$163.50: Graduate Diploma / Bachelor’s / Master’s
S$218: Doctorate

Are course fees inclusive of GST?
Yes. All course fees are generally inclusive of GST and government-related charges, unless otherwise stated.
Is there a limit on NETS payments?
Yes. NETS payments are limited to S$2,000 per transaction per day.
What information is needed for bank transfer or cheque payments?
You must include:
Student name
Passport or NRIC number
Programme title
For cheques, also ensure:
Payable to “MDIS Pte Ltd”
Cheque is crossed
Details written on the back of the cheque
What happens if I pay my instalment late?
A late payment administrative charge of S$100 (excluding GST) will be applied for each late instalment.
Cancellation Policy
Can I cancel my course after I’ve paid?
Yes, but refunds depend on when you submit your withdrawal request relative to the course start date. A refund may be partial or not available if cancellation is made after the course has begun.
Is there a cooling-off period?
Yes. You are entitled to a 7-working-day cooling-off period from the date you sign the contract, during which you may receive a maximum refund if you withdraw.
Will I get a refund if I cancel before the course starts?
Yes, but the refund amount depends on timing:
More than 60 days before start: 75% refund of fees paid
Within 60 days before start: 25% refund
After signing but before course starts (late withdrawal cases may vary): subject to refund policy conditions
What if I cancel after the course has started?
Refunds reduce depending on how long you have studied:
Within 7 days after start: 10% refund
Within 7-14 days after start: 5% refund
After 14 days: No refund
What happens if MDIS cancels or cannot run my course?
If the course is cancelled, delayed, or cannot be delivered, you are entitled to a full refund of all course and miscellaneous fees within 7 working days, or you may be offered an alternative course.
Can I withdraw for personal reasons?
Yes. You can submit a written withdrawal request at any time, but:
Any discounts or waivers will be cancelled
Outstanding fees must still be paid
Refund (if any) follows the standard refund table
How do I request a withdrawal or cancellation?
You must submit a written withdrawal form. You will receive confirmation within 3 working days, and an outcome within up to 4 weeks (if no refund is involved).
When will I receive my refund?
Approved refunds are processed within 7 working days after your request is confirmed.
Are there any fees that are non-refundable?
Yes:
Application/administrative fees (e.g. S$109 deferment/transfer fee)
Some instalment-related payments depending on timing
Certain service fees or waivers may be forfeited upon withdrawal
What if I want to transfer or defer instead of cancelling?
Transfer: You can move to another course (fees and approval apply)
Deferment: You can pause studies for up to 1 year (approval required, S$109 fee applies)
What happens if I am expelled or removed from the course?
Refunds follow the standard withdrawal policy. Reasons include:
Poor performance
Low attendance
Misconduct or plagiarism
Cheating or disciplinary issues
