Payment Terms

Homestay Cancellation Policy Guest CancellationsYou may cancel a booking at any time before arrival. However, please note:<ul style=""><li dir="ltr">The booking fee paid at the time of reservation is non-refundable under the terms and conditions agreed upon at booking.</li><li dir="ltr">In exceptional circumstances, Homestay.com may consider refunding the booking fee. This is entirely at our discretion.</li><li dir="ltr">Cancellation requests are made via email.</li><li dir="ltr">If you’ve booked with a host using our Deposit Payment option, you’ll have paid 25% of the booking price plus the booking fee. To receive a refund of the 25% deposit, you must cancel at least 7 full days before arrival.<ul><li dir="ltr">If cancelled less than 7 days before arrival, this deposit is transferred to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival. </li></ul></li></ul>Long-Term Bookings &amp; AmendmentsIf you wish to change a long-term booking, first confirm changes with your host. Then contact Homestay.com to update your booking.You may cancel a long-term booking by:<ul style=""><li dir="ltr">Logging into your account and canceling it under the "Bookings" section</li><li dir="ltr">Contacting your host through the message system</li><li dir="ltr">Again, booking fees are non-refundable under our terms and conditions.</li></ul> Shortening Your Stay.If you want to shorten your stay, it’s up to the host’s discretion whether they refund unused days. The booking fee remains non-refundable. If Your Host CancelsIf your host cancels your booking:<ul style=""><li dir="ltr">Homestay.com will refund your booking fee in full.</li><li dir="ltr">We will help you find a suitable alternative accommodation.</li><li dir="ltr">If the host cancels on your behalf, the booking fee is not refundable, per the terms you agreed to on booking. </li></ul>Refund Considerations After Check-InIf an issue arises after check-in, you must contact Homestay Technologies Limited within 48 hours of arrival for us to consider a refund. If you fail to contact us within that time, a refund will not be considered. Deposit Payment OptionFor bookings made with the Deposit Payment option (available with select hosts):<ul style=""><li dir="ltr">You must pay 25% of the booking cost and the booking fee to confirm your stay</li><li dir="ltr">Cancellation must occur at least seven full days prior to arrival for the 25% to be refunded.</li><li dir="ltr">If cancelled later, this deposit is sent to the host two business days after your scheduled arrival.</li><li dir="ltr">The booking fee is non-refundable in all cases.</li></ul> The above cancellation policy is a synopsis of the properties cancellation policy. &nbsp;There could be few changes incorporated from time to time, hence we recommend you to review the full Accommodation Contract for a comprehensive understanding of their cancellation policies.
