Who is responsible for understanding the contract? The student is fully responsible before booking. When do I accept the terms? Once the booking is completed. Can terms be changed by the website? No. Terms are set by the accommodation provider and local law. What governs the contract? The rental contract, provider notices, and local law. What is the legal effect? The contract is legally binding, whether paper or electronic. What happens if I cancel after the cooling-off period? No refund. You may need to pay full rent or find a replacement tenant.
