The Hill Overview

Location

What is required for the security deposit?An amount equal to one month’s rent must be submitted as a security deposit. This payment is required within 48 hours of the lease being signed. What additional costs must be paid before moving in?Total move-in charges include the first month’s rent as well as the prepaid final month’s rent. What is the deadline for move-in payments?All move-in charges must be fully paid at least three days prior to the move-in date.

Payment Terms

Can the lease be ended early?No. Early lease terminations or breaks are strictly prohibited under the agreement. What are the options if one needs to move out before the lease ends?The only available method to vacate early is to perform a lease transfer, where the obligations are shifted to a new, eligible party. Rochester Insitute of Technology is a four-minute drive from the property, while the <a href="https://www.casita.com/student-accommodation/usa/rochester/university-of-rochester" style="">University of Rochester</a> is an 11-minute drive away.Almost ten bus stations surround the premises. Andrews &amp; UC Crosswalk station is the closest one, followed by RIT S Lot station and Perkins &amp; Crosswalk station.

So far, I've had a really comfortable experience living here. The staff are always super friendly and there's a super cute office dog named Maisy!! She's super sweet!
Room wise? They're pretty nice! I was really lucky to also have really great roommates. I even got to meet some of my neighbors through the discord server they put up. I haven't had much issue with maintenance, so I can't speak from experience, but the maintenance guy (when I see him in the hallways) is always nice! He never forgets to say good morning or asks how you're doing. Overall? I would, and have, recommend living here if you have the chance

I love living here and I’m renewing my lease! I’ve lived here for two years so far and I really enjoyed the experience. The staff decorates and does fun community events every month which makes the environment very welcoming and interactive. The new staff is very attentive to my needs. With the holidays coming up, I will be receiving my packages safely through Luxer. Shout out to Maisy, the office dog, she is always a highlight when walking into the office.

I am so happy with the improvements. The Hill started off very rocky when I first lived here a year and a half ago. The previous management was so disrespectful and rude. Since then the management and staff have been nothing but helpful and nice. They even let me move in a few days late out of my previous unit due to flight issues. They put on weekly free events for the resident (my favorite is waffle Wednesday) and are even starting up a front door trash service! I am so excited!! No more lugging trash down the hallways or outside. They even have an adorable dog in the office incase you need a few extra pets from a good fluffy dog! Thank you to the owners for finding new managers that care.
