Wilmington, North Carolina is home to the public Cape Fear Community College (CFCC). The intellectual, economic, social, and cultural lives of its students are strengthened by this comprehensive community college with open doors and several campuses.
Each year, it takes in close to 23,000 students. In addition to having satellite campuses in Castle Hayne, Burgaw, and Surf City, the main campus is situated in the heart of Wilmington. The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools' Commission on Colleges gave the college designation as a Special Purpose Institute in 1969.
The institution accepts students from wherever and grants credit for life experiences. In 2021, Community College Review ranked it as the fourth-best community college in North Carolina.

Facilities and Resources
Clubs and societies at CFCC support teaching leadership abilities, emotional maturity, teamwork, and other skills. There are several other groups to choose from, including the Computer Technology Club and the Feminist Alliance. A student club membership is highly recommended!
The men's and women's athletic teams at CFCC are referred to as the Sea Devils. The institution participates in athletics as a part of the National Junior College Athletic Association's Carolinas Junior College Conference.
The following sports: men's basketball, men's soccer, women's basketball, women's soccer, and women's volleyball are all offered by the college. Additionally, CFCC offers a cheerleading squad and a range of intramural sports.
