Departments and Divisions

Binghamton University has world-class and top-rated academic programmes to offer its students. The university has six different colleges and schools operating under its name. These colleges are Harpur College of Arts and Sciences, Watson College of Engineering and Applied Science, School of Management, Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences, College of Community and Public Affairs, and School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Binghamton offers around 130 undergraduate programmes, 80 graduate programmes, honours programmes, and accelerated programmes. The available fields of study at Binghamton include Accounting, Art and Design, Biochemistry, Business Administration, Chemistry, Cinema, Computer Science, English, Economics, Environmental Studies, Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, and Theatre, to name just a few. Binghamton University has a range of different resources and facilities to offer its students to enhance their learning experience. Clubs and Organisations

Binghamton has an array of student clubs and organisations in which students can participate to help them develop their social skills, their leadership skills, and pursue passions that may not be related to their majors or fields of study. These clubs are numerous and include Computer Robotics and Engineering Club, Circus Art Association, Enactus, Sulpoong, and Kaskeset, among others. 

Health and Fitness

Binghamton is considered one of the 25 healthiest colleges in the United States. The university prioritises its students' health and fitness, thus offering a wide range of different health and fitness services. There is a cutting-edge on-campus fitness centre which offers a wide range of exercise options, as well as cardio, weightlifting, and offered gym classes. Additionally, students’ mental wellbeing is also a priority at Binghamton. The University Counselling Centre offers support to Binghamton students in a variety of ways, such as through programmes on managing stress, developing and sustaining healthy relationships, and building coping skills to better manage their college life.

Athletics

Binghamton University is big on sports, athletics, and recreational activities. Binghamton students participate in over 21 different NCAA Division I sports. Over 2,000 Binghamton students partake in 41 sports, recreational activities, and competitive clubs. There are also intramural programmes that offer a variety of individual and team sports that more than 3,000 students take advantage of each year. Dining Services

First-year students are generally required to live in an on-campus Binghamton University student accommodation. The university has several available New York residence halls, as well as different forms of living communities for students to choose from during their study period.
