Why Study at Bedford College
Bedford College was established as a Further Education Institute to focus on this sector, and it remained on the Cauldwell Street site. The Department for Business, Innovation, and Skills bestowed Beacon Status on the college in July 2009. Bedford College has achieved the position of being one of the greatest further education institutes in the United Kingdom. The merger of Bedford College and Shuttleworth College; a component of Writtle College, was announced in August 2009. The Bedford College Group, which includes Shuttleworth College and The Bedford Sixth Become, as well as campuses in Wellingborough, Kettering, and Corby, was formed in August 2017 when Bedford College and Tresham College combined to form The Bedford College Group.

Advanced Engineering Centre
The new £4.5 million Advanced Engineering Centre is presently under construction, and it will include newer, lighter analytical equipment, BIM software, and robotics to help you progress to higher-level training required in today's industrial and civil engineering markets.
Brooks Hair & Beauty Salon
The Hair & Beauty students are housed in a modern, functional commercial salon on Bedford's High Street. The Salon is modern and pleasant, with up-to-date technology, and provides students with the opportunity to practise in a real-world setting.
Industry-Standard Workshops
Bedford College’s realistic working settings will help you improve your technical abilities and practise your technique in workshop bays suited for carpentry, electrical work, and more if you're studying Construction, Engineering, Motor Vehicle, or Plumbing & Gas.
Library
With rooms for both private and group study, as well as over 30,000 resources, including an increasing number of e-resources, the library is a great place to spend time studying outside of class. Having access to the books you need online allows you to learn from wherever you are, which is proving to be quite popular among existing students. You can also utilise the free WiFi or use computers, which include PCs, Macs, and Netbooks.
Live Lounge

South Bank Arts Centre
Art & Design, Performing Arts, Music & Media, and Performing Arts, Music & Media students are based at the South Bank Arts Centre. Spring Sports Centre

Stansfield Building
This lovely structure, which blends in with the historic neighbourhood, provides a unique learning environment for students aged 16 and up who have to learn challenges or disabilities. The structure has a bright and pleasant atmosphere. It includes an independent living flat and kitchen as well as large classrooms to encourage the development of independence skills.
