At Casita, we offer off-campus Florida International University accommodation and various options for the most convenient Miami student halls. Through our experienced and dedicated international multi-lingual staff, we aim to help you find your perfect student home.

Most of our PBSAs (Purpose-built Student Accommodation) offer various amenities, including Wi-Fi, common areas, laundry facilities, a reception area, and on-site staff. Most PBSAs also have all-inclusive bills, including utilities (gas, water, WI-FI, and electricity); this makes them the perfect fit if you’re looking for  Florida International University accommodation or Miami student halls. The room types usually provided by PBSAs are en-suites (rooms with private bathrooms and kitchens or living areas), non-ensuites (rooms with shared bathrooms and kitchens or living areas), and studios (self-contained rooms with a kitchen and a bathroom). Some studios, however, do contain a kitchen but share the bathroom, and apartments contain separate rooms with a bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and living area.

Alternatively, we offer private options, including a private bedroom, studio, or private apartment. However, these options may incur additional utility charges depending on the provider.

Why study at Florida International University?

The Florida International University was planned in 1965 by Senator Robert M. Haverfield; at the time, there were no state universities in Miami, Florida. And in 1969, three leaders started working on the project now known as Florida International University, whose location used to be an abandoned airfield. The first opening was in 1972, with the university starting with a student body of 5,667; this was the largest opening enrollment in US history.

Today the university has over ten campuses, both in the US and abroad, museums, and the Aquarius Reef Base for ocean studies. This university has produced more than 275,000 alumni and a student body of more than 56,000 students. The university currently ranks between 501 and 600 and has an acceptance rate of 64%. This university has a diverse student body from over 140 different countries.
