Why Study at the College of Liberal Arts?

The University of Texas at Austin's liberal arts college is known as the College of Liberal Arts. The college was founded in 1883, the year the university was founded, but the current college was created in 1970 as a result of the division of the College of Arts and Sciences. More than 45 degrees in graduate and undergraduate liberal arts programmes are available.

Numerous UT Austin Liberal Arts programmes, such as English, history, psychology, and sociology, were ranked in the top 20 in the country.

RLP Building

The Sherri and Robert L. Patton, Jr. Hall (RLP), formerly known as the Liberal Arts Building (CLA), is one of the best buildings on campus. It has smart classrooms and cutting-edge technology to help students on their learning journey.

There are 16 liberal arts departments, centres, and programmes there. Study areas, offices for professors and graduate students, laboratories, seminar rooms, classrooms, study areas, a student lounge, and an advising centre are available.
