This building offers 3 payment types: Upfront payment, Three Installments and Ten Installments. The first instalment always needs to be paid 14 days before the tenancy begins ( No UK guarantor needed)
Cancellation Policy
- Within 14 days of deposit payment and acceptance of T&Cs: Customer can cancel with a refund of 1-week upfront rent payment if a written letter of cancellation is sent to the building [The letter should detail the booking reference which is on your contract (beginning with T), customer name and a reason for cancelling. We will then be in touch with a cancellation form to begin the cancellation process]
- After 14 days of deposit payment and acceptance of T&Cs: Customer will be liable for the payment of rent, and the other obligations set out in the Terms and Conditions of Tenancy (Assured Shorthold Tenancy) The only exception will be if you fail to obtain a visa to enter the United Kingdom. If that should happen, then, provided the site team receive notice from you by 31 July 2020 (with accompanying proof of refusal), it will be accepted that the amount of the 1-week upfront rent payment as an agreed sum to compensate the site for the loss of income which will be suffered, and you will be released from the terms of the Tenancy Agreement.
- After moving in: After the customer collects his/her keys, the customer will be liable for the payment of rent, and the other obligations set out in the Terms and Conditions of Tenancy (Assured Shorthold Tenancy). In the event the customer wishes to move out, he/she should contact the team who will be able to assist, but the customer must find a replacement tenant to take over the Tenancy and pay any associated administrative and clerical fees to carry out the transfer.

After 14 days of payment and acceptance of T&Cs with the exceptions pertaining to Covid-19:
The exceptions are if
a) the General Course Spring Semester 2021 no longer goes ahead as a result of LSE not being open due to the COVID-19 pandemic and/or
b) the student has not been granted a visa to study in the UK as a result of limitations in place as a result of COVID-19 and/or
c) the student is unwell as a result of COVID-19 and will not be able to attend LSE and/or
d) UK Government incoming travel restrictions are in place, or their home country or home institution is not permitting travel to the UK.
If any of these should happen, then, provided we receive notice from you by 1 December 2020 (with accompanying proof), we will refund the one month’s rental amount paid by the student, and the student will be released from the terms of the Tenancy Agreement.
