When is rent due?Rent is payable monthly in advance and must be received no later than the first working day of each rental month.For partial rental months, rent is charged pro rata, unless otherwise stated. How do I pay my rent?Rent is generally paid directly to the landlord using the bank account details provided in the rental agreement.For certain listings:<ul data-end="681" data-start="420"><li data-end="525" data-section-id="1b9ql3f" data-start="420">The first month's rent must be paid through the Wunderflats platform when the booking is confirmed.</li><li data-end="619" data-section-id="dsbyy8" data-start="526">The payment will be transferred to the landlord 48 hours after the contract start date.</li><li data-end="681" data-section-id="zhzu57" data-start="620">Pro rata payments are not available for these listings.</li></ul> When do I need to pay the first month's rent?Depending on the listing, the first month's rent must be paid either:<ul data-end="920" data-start="803"><li data-end="848" data-section-id="1co4v83" data-start="803">Directly to the landlord before move-in, or</li><li data-end="920" data-section-id="ji868u" data-start="849">Through the Wunderflats platform at the time of booking confirmation.</li></ul>The applicable payment method will be specified in the listing and rental agreement. When is the security deposit due?The security deposit must be paid directly to the landlord before moving into the apartment. Does the Wunderflats Service Fee apply to all bookings?No. The Helfende Wände refugee housing platform is free of charge, and the Wunderflats Service Fee does not apply.

Both the tenant and landlord may cancel the booking process at any time before a binding booking has been completed.</section><section data-testid="conversation-turn-32" data-turn="assistant" data-turn-id="request-69ca600f-9618-8330-99a8-43844b98457e-0" data-turn-id-container="request-69ca600f-9618-8330-99a8-43844b98457e-0" dir="auto"> Can I cancel after the booking has been completed?Generally, no. Once a binding booking has been completed, early termination is not permitted.</section> Are there any exceptions that allow early termination?<section data-testid="conversation-turn-32" data-turn="assistant" data-turn-id="request-69ca600f-9618-8330-99a8-43844b98457e-0" data-turn-id-container="request-69ca600f-9618-8330-99a8-43844b98457e-0" dir="auto">Yes.
