What are the payment options?For most room types and contract durations, we offer two payment options:Full contract payment: You pay for the full duration of the accommodation in one payment at thetime of booking. Some of our locations will offer you the option of splitting the payment bymaking an advanced rent payment on booking, this is usually £200 which is deducted from thetotal payment which is due on the 1st August.NB: If you book a room after the 1st August you will need to make the full payment at the time ofbooking.Instalment plan: The full value of the contract is broken down into several payments spreadthroughout the duration of your contract. You will need to make an advanced rent paymentwhen you book of £200 which is deducted from your second rent instalment.Please note: To be eligible for an instalment plan you will need a Guarantor.NB: If you book a room after the 1st August you will need to pay the advanced rent and firstinstalment payments at the time of booking – a full instalment breakdown is shown once youselect book now and start the booking process.Do I pay a deposit/booking fee?We don’t take a deposit or charge you a booking fee when you book with Host. We take aninitial rent payment; this is not a deposit it is a payment made on booking which forms part ofyour total rental amount.When do I pay my rent?If you select an instalment plan for the 2026/27 academic year on a 51/45/44/43 week contractyour rent is due on the following dates:Advanced rent: on booking1st instalment: 1st August 20262nd instalment: 28th September 20263rd instalment: 13th January 20274th instalment: 14th April 2027

Payment Terms

Before Signing the Tenancy Agreement<ul style=""><li dir="ltr">If written cancellation is received within 7 days of the application and before the booking confirmation email, the booking is cancelled at no charge, and the advance rent is fully refunded.</li><li dir="ltr">If the tenancy agreement is not completed within 7 days, the landlord may retain the advance rent if either party cancels the booking</li></ul>After Signing the Tenancy Agreement (Before Tenancy Start)<ul style=""><li dir="ltr">If cancellation is requested within 72 hours of the booking confirmation email, no fee applies, and the advance rent is fully refunded.</li><li dir="ltr">If cancellation occurs after 72 hours, the tenancy cannot be cancelled unless a replacement tenant is found.</li></ul>After the Tenancy Start Date<ul style=""><li dir="ltr">Cancellation is only accepted once a replacement tenant takes over the room.</li><li dir="ltr">The tenant remains liable for rent and charges until the new tenancy begins.</li><li dir="ltr">Once a replacement tenant signs and receives booking confirmation, any payments made (including advance rent) will be refunded minus rent owed up to the takeover date.</li></ul>Additional Conditions<ul style=""><li dir="ltr">If rent due before move-in is not paid, the landlord may cancel the tenancy and retain the advance rent.</li><li dir="ltr">If the landlord cancels the booking before move-in due to circumstances beyond their control, all payments will be refunded.</li><li dir="ltr">Bookings obtained using false or misleading information may be cancelled.</li></ul>The above cancellation policy is a synopsis of the property’s cancellation policy. There could be a few changes incorporated from time to time. Hence, we recommend you review the full accommodation contract for a comprehensive understanding of their cancellation policies.

I loveeeeee this place- has made my stay here so far feel very comfortable and cozy- I forget I’m living away from home. The entire team is so friendly, from the manager to the receptionists to the maintenance team and on site  team, they’re always interactive hosting different events and giving out breakfast/freebies. Everyone here has great energy and make their residents feel so included and safe. Maintenance is on point with any requests too, and everyone is sweet and has everyone’s best interest. Very clean and nice accommodation, this honestly should’ve been my accommodation from 1st year!?????

Almost worthy of 5 stars for location, amenity and quality. Friendly and helpful staff overall. Building Manager particularly helpful. Great communal spaces. Good floor space in rooms, all ensuite.

Some of the rooms haven't been refurbished in 9 or 10 years, so certain elements are starting to feel a little tired and in need of replacement. The one fridge in a shared flat for 4 was quite small and looking old. Flats for 5 or more have 2 fridges. We were advised that rooms are all deep cleaned before moving in, but cleaning wasn't to my standard, all  surfaces were pretty grubby, although nothing that a good clean couldn't fix.

Fantastic facility! If you’re searching for comfortable and reliable student accommodation, I’d highly recommend this place. The staff are incredibly understanding and always attentive to individual needs. The on-site facilities are excellent and make the whole uni move so much easier and stress-free. Just an all round nice place to be :)

I’ve had such a great experience at The Glassworks Leicester! The place is modern, comfortable and really well located for students. Everything is clean and organized, and the atmosphere feels welcoming.

Special thanks to Joe and Tammie — they’ve been incredibly helpful and supportive, always ready to answer questions and make the whole process smooth. Truly appreciate the kindness and professionalism.

Highly recommend this accommodation!

I arrived for the first time on Friday and was greeted with a lovely smile from Tammy! My room was clean, modern and fresh. Nonetheless, I did experience some problems working the cooker and my flat didn't have some of the essentials required. This being said, the maintenance team were quick to resolve my issue and now my flat is in working order. There were plenty of events commencing in the common room all week to help new students settle in. I would definitely recommend this student accommodation if your looking for a good time and great facilities!
