What payment is required for bookings over 90 days?
For stays longer than 90 days, a WA State Government Residential Tenancy Act (RTA) contract will be issued. Students are required to pay 6 weeks upfront before check-in, including a 4-week security bond and 2 weeks’ rent in advance.

How do I pay the upfront amount for long-term bookings?
The required payment can be made through the online portal or via bank transfer before check-in.

Is the security bond refundable?
Yes. The security bond may be fully or partially refunded after check-out, provided the room inspection is satisfactory and there are no outstanding damages or charges.

What payment is required for bookings under 90 days?
For stays under 90 days, a valid credit card is required at check-in. A temporary hold of $200 will apply for most room types, while Studios require a $500 hold.

What is the credit card hold used for?
The holding amount acts as a security guarantee against damages, missing items, or additional services used during the stay.

When will the credit card hold be released?
The hold will be released fully or partially after check-out, depending on the outcome of the room inspection and whether any extra charges apply.

Can I cancel my booking and receive a refund?
Bookings are non-cancellable and non-refundable, except in cases where a student visa is declined before arrival.

Can I cancel my booking before the tenancy starts?
Yes, you can cancel your tenancy agreement without penalty by providing written notice at least 30 calendar days before the agreement start date.

What happens if I cancel less than 30 days before the start date?
If you cancel less than 30 days before the tenancy start date, you will remain responsible for paying rent until a replacement tenant is found. Any rent paid in advance may be retained partially or fully at Campus Perth’s discretion.

Can I cancel my booking if my visa or university offer is declined?
Yes, cancellations due to a declined Student Visa or Offer of Enrolment can be made without penalty, provided written notice and supporting documentation are submitted at least 14 days before the tenancy start date. A $100 administration fee will apply.

Can short-term bookings be cancelled?
No, bookings for stays shorter than 90 days are non-cancellable and non-refundable.
