Payment & Cancellation

Payment Terms

Payment Terms

When do I need to pay my tuition fees?

Students are required to pay tuition fees for the first two terms in full in advance, either before arriving at the institution or on the day of enrolment. Any previously paid tuition fee deposit will be deducted from the total amount due.

How are tuition fees paid?

Payments can only be made through online payment, bank transfer, or bank draft. Cash payments are not accepted under any circumstances.

How do I pay for additional terms if my programme is longer than two terms?

After the initial payment for the first two terms, future payments must be made in advance:

  • Third term fees are due at the start of the second term
  • Fourth term fees are due at the start of the third term
  • And so on for each subsequent term

What payment methods are accepted after arrival?

Once students have arrived or started a digital programme, payments can be made via:

  • Online payment
  • Bank transfer
  • UK debit card
  • International credit/debit card (with ID required)
  • GBP cheque

Cash payments are not accepted.

What happens if I have outstanding fees?

Students will not be allowed to start or continue their programme if any fees remain unpaid. The institution may:

  • Suspend or cancel enrolment
  • Charge interest on overdue amounts
  • Withhold academic results or certificates until full payment is made

Are there any extra fees I should be aware of?

Yes. Additional costs may include:

  • Repeat module fees (if required): approx. £2,000 per module (or £1,500 for digital programmes)
  • Core learning materials (provided but must be purchased by students)
  • Optional internships, which require separate fees and applications

Do scholarships or discounts affect payment?

Yes. Any scholarships, discounts, or bursaries are usually deducted from the final term fees of the programme.

Who pays bank charges for transactions?

Students are responsible for covering any bank or transaction charges. If unpaid, these charges may be deducted from the tuition fee deposit.

Is insurance required?

International students (outside digital programmes) must have valid medical, accident, and travel insurance for the duration of their studies. UK-resident students are not required to have insurance but are encouraged to do so.

Can I pay using a sponsor or funding body?

Yes. Sponsored students must provide official financial guarantee documentation from their sponsor before starting the programme.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy

Can I cancel my offer before enrolment?

Yes. If you cancel within 14 days of receiving your acceptance form or making your deposit/financial guarantee, you are eligible for a full refund, including the tuition fee deposit and administration fee.

However, any services already provided by the institution before cancellation may be deducted.

What happens if my visa is refused?

If your UK visa application is refused and you meet the required conditions, you may receive a refund of:

  • Tuition fee deposit
  • Accommodation payment

The administration fee is non-refundable. You must also provide an official visa refusal letter from UK immigration authorities.

Refunds will not be issued if the refusal involves fraud, false documents, or undisclosed immigration history.

Are tuition fees or deposits refundable after enrolment?

In most cases, no. Once you have started your programme, tuition fees, accommodation fees, and other charges are non-refundable, except in specific circumstances (see below).

Can I get a refund after I have started my studies?

Refunds after enrolment are only possible in limited cases, such as:

  • Transferring to another UK institution (refund for unused tuition fees may apply)
  • Returning home due to approved extenuating circumstances
  • Accommodation is vacated and replaced by another student
  • Prepaid fees for future terms not yet started
  • Digital programmes cancelled within 14 days of official enrolment date
  • Programme withdrawal or disruption under the Student Protection Plan

All cases are assessed individually.

What is the Student Protection Plan?

If the institution cannot continue a programme, students may receive:

  • Refunds of tuition, deposit, and other fees
  • Possible compensation for accommodation or travel costs
  • Support to transfer to another programme

The goal is to ensure students are not financially disadvantaged if their studies are disrupted.

Are there any cancellation or refund fees?

Yes. In some cases:

  • A £200 cancellation fee may be deducted for pre-enrolment refunds
  • A £200 refund processing fee may apply after enrolment (for refunds above £750)

How long does it take to process a refund?

Refunds are usually processed within 4 weeks after the completed refund request form is received.

Where will my refund be sent?

Refunds are returned to the original payment method and payer only. In most cases, funds are sent back to the original bank account used for payment.

Can someone else receive my refund?

No. Refunds can only be issued to the original payer, unless specific banking conditions apply (e.g. small UK refunds under £2,000 may go to a UK account in the student’s name).

Who do I contact for a refund request?

  • Before enrolment: via email
  • After enrolment: via email

The above cancellation policy is a synopsis of the property’s cancellation policy. There could be a few changes incorporated from time to time. Hence, we recommend you review the full Accommodation Contract for a comprehensive understanding of their cancellation policies.
