Payment & Cancellation
Payment Terms
- Booking payment: Bank transfer or credit card is accepted.
Initial payment: The first 2 weeks’ rent are paid upfront. Students can use this period to open an Australian bank account for ongoing payments.
Weekly rent: Collected by direct debit from an Australian bank account. Credit cards are not accepted for recurring payments. Students may alternatively pay the full outstanding balance by bank transfer during the initial payment period.
Final rent prepayment: A 4-week rent prepayment is required and credited towards the final 4 weeks of the stay. It is not refunded separately, and no additional security bond is required.
Guarantor: Not required.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation Fees Within 14 Days:
A late cancellation fee equal to 2 weeks’ rent will apply, in addition to the non-refundable 2-week deposit and booking fee. This fee will be deducted from the prepaid rent. The remaining 2 weeks of prepaid rent will be refunded.
- Cancellation Fees Between 15-28 Days:
A late cancellation fee equal to 1 week’s rent will apply, in addition to the non-refundable 2-week deposit and booking fee. This fee will be deducted from the prepaid rent. The remaining 3 weeks of prepaid rent will be refunded.
- Cancellation More Than 28 Days:
The non-refundable 2-week deposit and booking fee will be forfeited. The full 4 weeks of additional prepaid rent will be refunded.
- Government Border Closure Policy:
Should the Australian Government impose a border closure with the country of travel on the scheduled check-in date, then the booking will be postponed and rescheduled for a future date to be advised by the student.
