Is an advance rent payment required? Yes. An advance rent payment is required to secure your booking and is deducted from your first rent instalment. The amount varies by property. What payment methods are accepted? Bank transfer, credit card, and debit card. What payment options are available? Payment Terms

Can a booking be cancelled shortly after it is made?&nbsp;Yes. A seven-day cooling-off period applies following the booking confirmation, as long as the keys have not been collected. During this time, a full refund of the deposit and advance rent is available. Specific rules may differ for tenancies located in Wales. What happens if the cooling-off period has passed?&nbsp;The tenant is responsible for all rent payments unless a replacement student (who meets the provider's eligibility criteria) is found or a new lease is signed. How do replacement tenants affect the contract?If before the start date, the provider may choose to accept the replacement, re-list the room, or use a waiting list. The original tenant is released seven days after this occurs. However, if it’s after the start date, the tenant is released once the new occupant's lease begins. If the room is already moved into, a £50 cleaning and prep fee is deducted.&nbsp;What if a first-year student misses their university grades?&nbsp;Under the "No Place No Pay" policy, first-year students can be released if they fail to meet entry requirements or if they switch universities after exceeding their grades. Formal proof (UCAS confirmation or a rejection letter) must be provided within seven days of result publication to receive a full refund. The above cancellation policy is a synopsis of the property’s cancellation policy. There could be a few changes incorporated from time to time. Honestly, what an amazing place to stay. I especially enjoy spending time in the common area, and if you are a bit lucky, you will get to meet with the lovely staff on site, Simin. She always made sure to handle all my issues with empathy and dedication.

Good place to live. Good location - close to my college. Great staff - helpful, kind. Simin, Nick and Angelina always there to help.

Severn Point is a really pleasant place to live, it has a really good common room, always have a lot of events going on here, staff are nice and friendly, especially Angelina and simin

The accom is close to the city central and Cardiff Uni, Royal Welsh Music & Drama College. It takes about 12 mins to Tesco Express, 25 mins to Lidl walking, and 15 mins to city central by bus. The ensuite rooms are really spacious, about 15 sqm, bigger than any other rooms from Unite Students, such as the ensuite room in Cambrian Point is only 12 sqm. The accom has a billiard, darts, PS video games, and even a private study room. They also have a television in each kitchen, but it's not working at the moment. People can use the laundry by using the Circuit app - washing costs £3.3 and drying costs £1.9 each time. The receptionists are always friendly and helpful, and the best part is they're open 24/7 so you can get in touch any time you need. The downside is that the area near the main road, North Road, can get a bit noisy, and the soundproofing isn't great. I can hear the sound from the next room if they talk too loud. Besides, the receptionists did not help with the luggage on the first day of check-in. But overall, it's a great place to live, especially considering the reasonable rental fee.
