Location

To finalise the move-in process, the initial rental payment and the security deposit must be received as cleared funds at least one business day before the tenancy starts. Please note that contracts will not be formally executed until these specific payments are confirmed.Initial Rent CalculationThe amount due for the first month depends on the move-in date:<ul><li dir="ltr">Move-in on or before the 15th: Payment covers the remaining days of the current month. This is calculated by dividing the total annual rent by 365 and multiplying it by the days left in the month.</li><li dir="ltr">Move-in on or after the 16th: Payment must include the pro-rated amount for the current month (calculated as above) plus the full rent for the following month.</li></ul>Security DepositThe deposit is equivalent to five weeks’ rent. To comply with regulations, the tenant must transfer these funds directly; payments from third parties are not accepted.&nbsp;Once paid, the funds are held securely by the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (Custodial).Payment Due DatesRent is due on the 1st of each month, per the Tenancy Agreement, via standing order.For joint tenancies, residents must designate one individual to handle the payment; multiple-account payments may trigger extra fees.

Payment Terms

All tenancy contracts remain subject to final agreement. Picking a good accommodation can have a massive impact on your university experience as a whole, Oxford Point is a great choice! It’s in a great location, close to uni as well as social facilities. The property management team are fantastic and always willing to help. A wide range of events are run for the residents, creating a lovely community. The wifi is also a big plus! Money well spent!

I’ve had a really good experience at Oxford Point. The location is ideal — close to town and convenient for uni. The rooms are modern, clean, and well-designed with good storage space.

The communal areas are a big plus — perfect for studying or just chilling with friends. The gym and social spaces are well maintained, and it feels secure overall.

Staff are friendly and helpful whenever there’s an issue, and maintenance is handled quickly.

Overall, a great place to stay if you’re looking for comfortable and convenient student accommodation in Bournemouth.

Oxford point is a wonderful place to live, I have been here for the past two years and have nothing but good to say about them! The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming always the first to smile and say hi as you walk through the reception area. The events organised are fantastic with a nice range to cater for everyone! The communal areas are nice and clean and bright very welcoming to be in. The price isn’t bad considering it includes the use of all communal areas, the gym and all organised events. Location wise Oxford point is perfect for any BU student being located close to several university buildings and a short bus ride away from talbot campus, a short walk to both the beach and the town centre and surrounded by shops so easy to get your groceries! Overall I only have positive things to say about the accommodation.

very satisfying experience in this hotel quite narrow but comfortable rooms, fairly accurate hygiene, each floor has its own kitchen / living room with microwave, 2 ovens and 2 induction hobs, next to it there are 2 sofas and a TV.  The study room is comfortable, and the leisure room is well stocked
