Payment Terms

Where can I find the full termination policy? It is available in the booking section and on the documents page. You must read and understand it before confirming your booking.Can I cancel within the initial period? Yes. You may cancel within 7 days of accepting the offer or paying the deposit (whichever occurs first), provided you have not moved into the property. If eligible, your security deposit will be refunded in full.How long does it take to receive the deposit refund? Refunds are normally processed within 28 working days of cancellation. If the deposit has already been secured with a third-party protection scheme, the refund may take up to 60 days due to the scheme’s processing time. In this case, the refund will be issued directly by the scheme and may require a repayment reference provided by them. The landlord cannot influence or speed up this process. Deposits are legally required to be protected in a third-party scheme.What happens if I cancel after the 7-day initial period? You remain liable for rent on a weekly basis, including any part-week, until the room is re-let.When will I be released from the agreement after late cancellation? You will only be released once the room has been successfully re-let and any required release payment or fees have been paid.The above cancellation policy is a synopsis of the property’s cancellation policy. Good location, friendly staff, lots of thought out into the events and free food a couple times a month which is a big plus. Awesome view from the roof terrace and love the social areas. A few issues with residents disrespecting the rules but that isn’t for lack of the staff trying to get them to listen. The was a couple instances of myself and people I know having dirty apartments when we moved in but other than that it’s mostly pretty good.

It's really good!! But it would be perfect for me to have a smoking machine on the induction cooker :)

Highly recommend Cumberland Place Accommodation! Amazing location (shopping, food, bus/train travel), stunning view from my apartment . Quiet day and night so perfect for shift work/placement. Staff are all friendly and helpful!!

I have been here for about half a year and feel that this apartment is great.
The staff here are very nice, and the reception will collect the parcels and letters, so students don't have to worry about the delivery time of the express.
As for the apartment, I think it is a very BEAUTIFUL apartment, it has super large floor-to-ceiling windows, and the scenery outside the window is very beautiful. This apartment also has a very large public area.
Overall, the experience of staying in this apartment is very good, I like it. And if you are a student coming to Southampton, I think choosing it is the best choice.
