Payment Terms

Where can I find the full termination policy? It is available in the booking section and on the documents page. You must read and understand it before confirming your booking.Can I cancel within the initial period? Yes. You may cancel within 7 days of accepting the offer or paying the deposit (whichever occurs first), provided you have not moved into the property. If eligible, your security deposit will be refunded in full.How long does it take to receive the deposit refund? Refunds are normally processed within 28 working days of cancellation. If the deposit has already been secured with a third-party protection scheme, the refund may take up to 60 days due to the scheme’s processing time. In this case, the refund will be issued directly by the scheme and may require a repayment reference provided by them. The landlord cannot influence or speed up this process. Deposits are legally required to be protected in a third-party scheme.What happens if I cancel after the 7-day initial period? You remain liable for rent on a weekly basis, including any part-week, until the room is re-let.When will I be released from the agreement after late cancellation? You will only be released once the room has been successfully re-let and any required release payment or fees have been paid.The above cancellation policy is a synopsis of the property’s cancellation policy. My son is due to start uni in September and will be living at Kensington House.  Whilst we cannot yet comment yet on what living there is like, we recently viewed the premises and were very impressed by the size of the rooms, the cleanliness, the on-site facilities and the location (close to everything a student could possibly want and need).   Dominique, who manages the property, was outstanding in going out of her way to not only arrange a viewing to fit in with our travel plans but in answering all our questions.  She clearly has a rapport with the students and appears to have their well-being as a priority.  My son is really looking forward to living at Kensington House and we are hoping he will very much enjoy his time there.

That’s how a first floor studio looks like. This house has on-site parking and on-site amenities such as cinema room, tiny gym, playroom and study room. Nice place.

Kensington house is really recommended. Located so close to the city center and most of the essential shops are near with affordable price. The room with its bathroom are very clean, have a good heating and well furnished. Staff are really friendly specially Mohit and he always offers his help. I hope using other facilities when COVID-19 restrictions lift.

Spacious and clean room for students located in the centre of town. Train station and university are nearby.  Staff is supportive and helpful would say highly recommended to all.
