Payment Terms

Where can I find the full termination policy? It is available in the booking section and on the documents page. You must read and understand it before confirming your booking. Can I cancel within the initial period? Yes. You may cancel within 7 days of accepting the offer or paying the deposit (whichever occurs first), provided you have not moved into the property. If eligible, your security deposit will be refunded in full. How long does it take to receive the deposit refund? Refunds are normally processed within 28 working days of cancellation. If the deposit has already been secured with a third-party protection scheme, the refund may take up to 60 days due to the scheme’s processing time. In this case, the refund will be issued directly by the scheme and may require a repayment reference provided by them. The landlord cannot influence or speed up this process. Deposits are legally required to be protected in a third-party scheme. What happens if I cancel after the 7-day initial period? You remain liable for rent on a weekly basis, including any part-week, until the room is re-let. When will I be released from the agreement after late cancellation? You will only be released once the room has been successfully re-let and any required release payment or fees have been paid. The above cancellation policy is a synopsis of the property’s cancellation policy. There could be a few changes incorporated from time to time. Excellent student accommodation for those seeking somewhere to stay while studying at Durham University. The room I rented was the cheapest option they had, yet it was very good quality. I have no real complaints, the room and it's devices worked great, the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. Overall a great experience.

I have lived at St Giles Studios for three years and have had a very positive experience. The staff are warm, kind, and always willing to help, which has made my stay comfortable and reassuring.

The property is safe, quiet, and well managed. I have never felt disturbed by unnecessary issues, and the overall living environment has been very pleasant.

The location is also very convenient, with supermarkets nearby and easy access to Durham University. I am very satisfied with my time at St Giles Studios and would recommend it to other students.

It's very comfortable to live in. The apartment room is clean and tidy. The facilities in the house are also relatively new, and every staff makes people feel very warm. If there is a problem, it will be solved in time.

I had a very good experience living at St Giles Studios. The studio is comfortable, well-equipped and conveniently located for students. The staff are friendly, helpful and responsive whenever I have questions or need support. Maintenance issues are also handled in a professional way. Overall, it is a safe and convenient place to live, and I would recommend it to other students looking for accommodation in Durham.

Prestige Living St Giles has been a great place to stay! It’s in an ideal spot close to both the campus and loads of shops. My room’s modern, quiet, and really comfortable, and the staff are super friendly and quick to sort out any issues. Recommend it for anyone looking for good accommodation.
