Departments and Divisions
NTU houses various colleges and schools, including Nanyang Business School, College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences, College of Engineering, College of Science, Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Graduate College, National Institute of Education, and S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies. Nanyang Business School (NBS) is the 1st business school in Singapore and 3rd in the Asia-Pacific region according to the Financial Times. Also, NBS is the only business school in Singapore to offer the 3-year direct-honours single degree programme in business or accountancy. Its well-known double degree programme in accountancy and business can be completed within 3.5 – 4 years, and the newly introduced integrated bachelor & master's programme takes its learners 4 years to complete. The college of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (HASS) includes four schools. These schools are the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication, and Information, the School of Art, Design, and Media, the School of Humanities, and the School of Social Sciences. The School of Humanities offers programmes in various fields of study, including Chinese, English literature, history, linguistics & multilingual studies, and philosophy. Additionally, the School of Social Sciences offers courses in economics, psychology, public policy, and sociology.
