The Haymarket is 10 minutes away from the University of Edinburgh by car. Right outside your door, there's a couple of very good restaurants, including Xiang Bala Hotpot, perfect for a good meal on a chilly winter night. The building is surrounded by a plethora of Italian restaurants. Mia Italian Kitchen is next door. Locanda de Gusti is another Italian restaurant with a rustic homey feel.
-
Pizzeria 1926 is right across the street. As for the grocery shopping, you have Co-op Food and Taste Of Europe. The infamous Domino's Pizza is right around the corner. Chapter One Coffee Shop is right down the street for a quick morning coffee. Tailor Express is a nearby tailor shop in case your jeans needed a stitch or two. Cineworld Cinema is a short stroll away from the building offering the latest films.
