About Bloomsbury Janet Poole House
London, the capital of the UK, was once the capital of six countries at the same time. This happened during WWII when London was the only safe city on the continent, making the displaced governments of five countries take refuge there.
Janet Poole House is a student housing in London that offers both en-suite and studio rooms. En-suite rooms come with a comfy bed, workspaces, wardrobes, TVs, plenty of storage space and private bathrooms. The kitchen and the dining areas are shared with other residents. These en-suite rooms come in three styles; Bronze Twin, silver and Gold.
If you don’t want to share the kitchen area and prefer to have your own, then studio rooms are for you. They give you your own private kitchen in addition to everything else offered in the en-suite rooms. Perfect for students who appreciate more privacy. The property’s studios come in seven styles; Bronze Twin, Silver, Gold, Gold Twin, Gold Plus Twin, Platinum and Platinum Twin.
Besides the en-suite and studio rooms, the property also offers Platinum Twin apartments, in which you can live with a friend and share the kitchen and bathroom. There are also Platinum Plus Suites, for people who want more space, luxury, and privacy.
Janet Poole House offers high-speed Wi-Fi and all-inclusive rent. The facilities include laundry rooms, bike storage and an on-site maintenance team that offers help around the clock. Social spaces are available as well for when you want to append your free time or you want to socialize with your flatmates. These include an outdoor area, a shared common room and a cinema room where you can watch your favourite movies.
Often described as one of the most prestigious and desirable locations in London, Janet Poole House is located in one of the capital’s most elegant streets. During your free time, go get some fresh air at Russell Square or you might want to visit a museum because you are surrounded by many of them. Get to know your dodo from your quagga at Grant Museum of Zoology, or know more about toys and their history at Pollocks Toy Museum.
Go to The British Museum and learn more about history, or if you love the ancient Egyptian culture, UCL Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology is there for you. When your stomach starts growling, go to one of the many restaurants around you, such as PaStation, Gigs or Hiba Street Food.

Can I cancel my booking?
If you accept an offer of accommodation online or by signing a Tenancy Agreement, and then decide you wish to cancel outside of the Initial Cancellation Period, the following applies:
- You remain liable for the weekly rent (for each and every week or part week) until you are able to find another tenant that is acceptable to Homes for Students (it is your responsibility to find another tenant) and we are able to re-let the room
- If we are able to re-let the room we will release you from the agreement upon payment of a £250 release fee which we will recover by retaining your deposit (which will not, therefore, be returned). If you have paid a different amount as a deposit (such as £150) then this is the amount that will be retained.
1st Year Applicants Only
If you are a prospective student and your offer of a place at your preferred University/Higher Education Institution is withdrawn by the University/Higher Education Institution, you may be eligible to be released from this agreement.
To apply to be released from the agreement you will need to provide:
- Written confirmation that you wish to cancel your reservation.
- Supporting evidence from the University or UCAS.
You can terminate your tenancy agreement if you have an existing medical condition and this is recorded on your application prior to a room offer being made. We will require medical proof with your application and you will be liable for a minimum of 4 weeks’ rent or to the end of the current rent period, whichever is longer.
