The <a href="https://www.casita.com/student-accommodation/uk/cardiff/university-of-south-wales" style="">University of South Wales</a> is a 10-minute walk away, <a href="https://www.casita.com/student-accommodation/uk/cardiff/cardiff-university" style="">Cardiff University</a> is an 18-minute walk away, and the <a href="https://www.casita.com/student-accommodation/uk/cardiff/university-of-wales" style="">University of Wales</a> is a 20-minute walk away. About 10 bus stations surround the property. Infirmary 5 is 3 minutes away on foot. West Grove 3 is a 5-minute walk away.

The West Wing

We stayed at west wing for about a year, and it was a pretty fab experience. The staff are really friendly as well as the security, they’re really helpful. And were really understanding when we had issues with our student loan coming through which caused us to have lots of late payments at the beginning of our tenancy. Also left us great references for our new place moving forwards.

The West Wing is a fantastic place to live as a student, the facilities such as the study area and gym are useful and the staff are always available and ready to help with any issues. Leyton, the maintenance man, is especially kind and helpful, responding to any issues on the same day as reporting them. Truly a perfect place to live!

Had a delightful experience here. There were many safety rules in place and I feel really safe and secure staying with them. Their facilities were more than sufficient and their covid protocols were excellent. Not the closest to Cardiff University but the walk is decent and enjoyable. Grocery store were easily accessible and I absolutely loved the centre space. Though there is hospital right beside it, hence you may hear the ambulance sirens occasionally.

Haven't had a chance to check the accommodations out in person, but I just had my virtual viewing online and I can confidently give the 5 stars.

I was booked in with Christian for the viewing today, and he did an amazing job of showing me around the place as well as answering any questions that I had.

He was very informative the entire way through, and made sure that I was comfortable with everything before concluding the call.

The place seems amazing, and having the friendly and helpful staff just tops of the experience.

So happy to have chosen to spend my year at The West Wing in Cardiff. As not only is it a close walk to various amenities such as shops and restaurants, the staff are all very helpful and try their best in making your experience here at The West Wing more enjoyable. Would recommend this student halls due to its proximity to the train station as well as Cardiff University buildings with the School of Journalism being only 20 mins away :)
