Been living here for years. Management has always had my back, especially through dealing with hard times. My finances haven’t been the best lately, but they have always worked with me. Office staff is friendly and I always get my maintenance requests met on time. Love this place. Was nervous about the new management and office staff at first, but they’ve been great so far! Keep up the great work Alight! Kiana, 302

I lived here for two years now. Me and my roommate never had a problem with the old management. But now there is now management and I am begging you to respect yourself more than to live in the same disturbing place I found myself living in. The staff will lie to your face at every turn. My ice machine has been out for 5 months now and despite multiple requests for it to be fixed I have never seen one maintenance person. There is feces as well as garbage bags in our stairwells. Our AC went out and I literally had to show up to the leasing office every day for a week and a half begging them to fix it. For nearly $1000 a month you can find a better place to live. Don’t believe me? Sort these reviews buy new. Almost every single one is a one star review. This new management is incompetent, disrespectful, infuriating, and uncaring. For the love of all that is holy do not sign a lease agreement with university house.

DO NOT LIVE HERE! This place is genuinely the worst place that you could live. The rent is ridiculously high considering that the place is infested with roaches, things are constantly broken, and the office couldn't care less about you. When I moved in, not only was the place crawling with roaches, but there was food and other trash all around the apartment. The oven was disgusting. A kitchen cabinet, blind, shower head, closet door, and the air conditioner were broken. Most of these things were fixed except my air and blind. I lived there for seven months and it was never fixed. It was constantly at least 80 or 90 degrees in my apartment. I sprayed so much bug spray in my apartment that even I couldn't stand it; yet, the roaches barely went away. A lot of the things that I have experienced have happened to people I know on other floors; so, nowhere is safe here.

DO.NOT.MOVE.HERE - DO NOT MOVE HERE - DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!!! If I could give this apartment complex 0 stars I WOULD. If I could shut this place down myself I WOULD. This apartment complex is a complete health hazard and the owners of the building AND the people in the leasing office DO.NOT.CARE!!!! There are trash bins that sit right next to the complex that are constantly full and trash rooms/chute that are always full of trash. Especially on the weekends (pictures included). First, my roommate and I have been dealing with fruit flies that have been invading ALL of our groceries. We have thrown away HUNDREDS of dollars worth of food because of them. Every morning and every night we have to SWEEP OUR REFRIGERATOR out because they somehow find there way into our fridge (pictures included). We have to close our drains at night, spray chemicals down our drains and put bowls of vinegar out just to try to get rid of them. It is IMPOSSIBLE and absolutely RIDICULOUS. Every home remedy you can think of we have tried. If I knew that we were going to pay hundreds of dollars to live with mice, roaches and fruit flies I absolutely would not have signed a lease here. Students and parents please please please save your money and DO NOT sign a lease here!!!!! They make WAYYYY too much money for their residents to be living in a fruit fly, roach and mice infested apartment complex. Spend a little more to live in better conditions!!!! Dear owner: please do not comment on my review and give the UH leasing office phone number. Please provide your number so we can speak directly. Thank you.

Would not recommend living here. Infested with gnats and all type of bugs. Says they remodeled but does not look like it.
