I chose to live at West Point because, when I came for a viewing, I saw how secure and clean it was with excellent facilities in a great location. But most of all it was the professionally helpful concierge staff that impressed, making me feel welcome from my first visit by addressing my questions quickly and accurately in a friendly manner.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/a/ACg8ocI2Jmst-hMSDsqLu2CtmlxLnd3fj4NJRI08Lg9SGU5Ung67qw=s128-c0x00000000-cc-rp-mo
5
Amazing customer service all round. The second we arrived on move in day we were greeted and all our stuff was taken care off, it made the whole experience pleasant and welcoming, in an otherwise stressful day. Other than that the reception team is friendly and super helpful, especially Micheal and Lucy :). Also, the events that are put on for residents are really fun and enjoyable from paint and sip, pumpkin carving to socials.
Any maintenance issue we’ve raised has been picked up and resolved promptly.
Whilst there is a gap under the front door we don’t hear neighbours often (we are the last apartment on the floor so this could be why, but we still have apartments across and next to us and we don’t hear anything unless in the hallway).
The washing machines in the laundry rooms can get busy at times but it’s never too much of an issue and we are able to keep on top of our washing, if it only means checking back a little later in the day.
The heating is under floor rather than radiators but we’ve personally never been too cold for it to be an issue and it does get quite warm in the apartments regardless.
I would recommend Westpoint apartments to anyone looking for an affordable apartment, it’s in a good area, really cosy studio type rooms and excellent staff. The open plan of the apartments makes it easily customisable to your needs and it’s only a 5 min walk to the tram stops into Manchester or Trafford and atleast 5 buses just outside the gate that go into Manchester. This is a perfect location for studying in Manchester as I attend a university there myself. This is mine and my boyfriends first apartment together and the whole experience has been nothing but perfect for us. Our only concern was seeing past bad reviews and getting nervous so I wanted to post one of my own because we personally love everything about our apartment.
