The staff are wonderful and always willing to help with any issues. The location is also very convenient, especially for university students, as it is close to both the Kelburn and Pipitea campuses, so I never had to worry much about commuting.

I would definitely recommend UniLodge to anyone looking for a place to stay near the university. For those who are considering this place, I’ve listed some pros and cons below :)

Pros:

Super convenient location, close to both Kelburn and Pipitea campuses.
Friendly and helpful staff who go above and beyond to assist with any issues.
Convenient access to the rubbish area.
Lots of cafés and restaurants nearby.
Credit card payments are accepted for rent. There is a small additional fee, but this is very convenient if you have just arrived in New Zealand and do not have a local bank account yet.

Cons:

I lived on the 5th floor, and the only real issue I had was the smell coming from outside.
Since the building is located near many restaurants, you can sometimes smell food from outside when your window is open.
The kitchen is quite small.

Overall, I had a very positive experience and would happily recommend UniLodge to other students looking for convenient accommodation near the university.I’ll definitely miss the wonderful staff!! ?
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/a-/ALV-UjXR8VrFs9tXQgdJxDOhHzgP1FjFOESRCWSF2WKhf-O6H-gNF3Jw=s128-c0x00000000-cc-rp-mo
5
Living here has been a great experience. The room is equipped with a large table, perfect for students in need of a dedicated workspace. The staff are not only hospitable but also incredibly supportive. I was impressed by their prompt response to my requests; they quickly added a paper holder and chopping board to the apartment right after I reported the need. The level of attention to resident satisfaction was truly commendable.

Besides, Stafford House is fully-facilitated. Moving in was a breeze, requiring nothing more than my luggage and bedding. Its location also provides easy access to key destinations, either to Victoria University or the city central. Beyond its excellent location, the surrounding area truly boasts an array of good food and beverage options, such as Belen Vegan, Tank, or Angry Ramen.

Overall, I recommend this apartment for its comfortable rooms, peaceful views, central location, and the exceptional service provided by the accommodating staff.
