The Brickworks is an amazing accommodation for first year students located in a great location close to YSJ Uni as well as York centre. I could not praise the staff enough they go above and beyond to support every individual living at this accommodation. They host so many different events from bringing in alpacas, hosting pizza nights and providing arts, crafts and free activities. If there is ever any maintenance problems someone always sorts it urgently and staff are always available even throughout the night if you have any concerns. Krissie is so kind and caring who is always there to help with any concerns and is always there if you need someone to talk to. The common room is an amazing place with a pool table, ping pong table, vending machine, sofas and a tv to hang out and speak to new people. My room, bathroom and kitchen was extremely tidy with enough storage to keep all your equipment. I highly recommend this accommodation; I will miss living there!","time":"1782821393","created_at":"2026-08-01 19:52:46","updated_at":"2026-11-01 12:56:45","deleted_at":null,"deleted_by":null},{"id":12827,"build_id":"663","author_name":"Erica Coupe","author_url":"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/contrib\/110116321058247784420\/reviews","language":"en","profile_photo_url":"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/a\/ACg8ocJhtnmA1ongrICZ7vu1krjOm00SdEnr8k5XOk0fG1MR2cFsJA=s128-c0x00000000-cc-rp-mo-ba4","rating":"5","relative_time_description":"7 months ago","text":"Looked clean, security gated.
