But it is not just the price that impressed me.

The facilities are brilliant. The gym and sports areas are top-notch, and the security is excellent. I always felt safe and never had to worry about my gadgets or belongings, which means a lot.

What made the experience truly special, though, was the staff. Incredibly respectful, always helpful and genuinely welcoming. A special shoutout to Lauren, Safia, Toshin and the weekend team who consistently went above and beyond. You made it feel like home, and I have huge respect for each of you.

If you are new to Manchester and looking for an accommodation that is affordable, secure, well-equipped, and run by people who actually care, IQ Student Quarter is the place to be. None of the negative reviews have been true for me (dirty, bad water pressure, etc) and I’ve had absolutely no problems. The room was to a good clean standard when I arrived (it looked exactly like the pictures on their website). The staff do a great job ensuring everything is going well and have generally good communication. The only slight complaint is the laundry on site uses Circuit which overcharges in my opinion. There are also only 6 washers and 6 driers for all the buildings and often not all are working. The walls are also quite thin which means you can hear a lot but if you have respectful flatmates it’s not too much of a problem. It is definitely a little expensive and there are places that will have similar amenities for less money but it’s good for what it is.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/a-/ALV-UjWTU9pJK5qTaHEFklYVv8E9hsai_7bDwGZNIAzRt03vTrKnV8_Q=s128-c0x00000000-cc-rp-mo-ba4
5
I just arrived at IQ Accommodation Salford on 7th September, and I have to say, my experience so far has been fantastic!
