<\/p>

Manchester grew from a Roman settlement into a major industrial city, with its history shaped by the textile industry and the Industrial Revolution. Today, this heritage can be explored at the Science and Industry Museum, while the city's former warehouses and mills have been adapted into shops, restaurants, and cultural spaces. Manchester Art Gallery, the Northern Quarter, and Canal Street add to the city's cultural appeal, alongside its established music scene and theatres. With several universities, historic landmarks, museums, and independent venues, Manchester has long been an important destination for students and visitors.<\/p>
