When can a residency agreement be cancelled?

Cancellations are only permitted prior to the scheduled start date of the agreement.

What is the process for submitting a cancellation?

A written request must be sent to the designated email address using the same email account that was used to sign the original agreement.

Under what conditions is the deposit refundable?

Deposits are generally non-refundable unless the applicant provides written proof of a rejected Australian Visa, a withdrawn university offer, or an employer-initiated job termination before the start date.

How do cancellation rules differ in Western Australia?

In Western Australia, the deposit is used to cover administrative expenses and lost rent associated with finding a replacement resident. If the provider suffers no financial loss, the deposit is returned.

The above cancellation policy is a synopsis of the property’s cancellation policy. There could be a few changes incorporated from time to time. Hence, we recommend you review the full Accommodation Contract for a comprehensive understanding of their cancellation policies.
