Bremen is a historic port city in northwestern Germany that combines centuries-old landmarks with a relaxed and student-friendly atmosphere. The city centre is home to landmarks such as the UNESCO-listed Town Hall, the Roland Statue, and the famous Bremen Town Musicians sculpture. Students can spend their free time exploring the Schnoor Quarter's narrow streets, shopping along Sögestraße, or relaxing by the River Weser, where cafés and seasonal events create a lively atmosphere throughout the year.

Home to the University of Bremen and Bremen University of Applied Sciences, Bremen offers an active student community and a laid-back lifestyle. Students can easily travel between campus, the city centre, and popular neighbourhoods using the tram network or by bike. Outside of lectures, many spend time along the Schlachte Promenade, explore the independent cafés and shops in the Viertel district, or enjoy annual events such as the Freimarkt fair and the Bremen Christmas Market.

Can I end my contract early with a replacement tenant?
Yes, you may request early termination by finding a suitable replacement tenant.

            • You must submit the completed replacement tenant form and supporting documents.
