Being only a two-minute walk from campus makes student life so much easier, especially for early lectures or quick trips to the library.

The staff are always friendly, approachable and quick to help whenever anything comes up, whether it’s a maintenance issue or just a general question. Caroline, the property manager, deserves a special mention because she is incredibly welcoming and always happy to help. She genuinely cares about the residents, and she’s always lovely to stop and have a chat with, which adds such a warm and personal touch to living here.

The common room has also become one of my favourite places in the building. They are always adding new games and finding ways to improve the space, so there is usually something fun to do. I’ve had so many good evenings there with friends, whether we’re playing games, relaxing or just having a laugh.

The events are another great part of living at The Garage. The location is amazing, it’s only about a five-minute walk from school and within walking distance of shops, which makes daily life very convenient. The staff here are excellent. Whenever I have issues, they are addressed promptly, and whenever I have questions, they are answered clearly and succinctly. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I had no problems getting settled in. The residence is well maintained, and the amenities are more than sufficient for student life. There is a well-equipped gym, comfortable common spaces, and a study area that is open to residents and can be booked in advance.
