Despite being a bit further out from the city centre (around 20-25 min walk to the centre), the area is very relaxed and quiet with nice parks and in close proximity to the river, there is also a large supermarket just around the corner from the residence, and it’s only a few minutes away from the main bus station, making it easy to travel.

The rooms are very high quality, with up-to-date fittings such as an induction cooker, a modern bathroom, thermostat-controlled air conditioning and heating, and the room has lots of natural light. Each door is locked via keycard, so you never need to worry about leaving it unlocked.

The residence also has a large selection of facilities. There is a gym in each building, a pool, a basketball court, a study room, a modern and high-quality laundrette, and even a roof terrace with views of the city.

My experience living here for the last 7 months has been very comfortable. The site is secure with a keycard-operated gate to enter, there is 24-hour security, and if you have any parcels or post delivered, there is secure storage in the reception.

One of the best services offered by this residence was the weekly cleaning service. Each week the room is cleaned, towels and bedsheets are changed, and bins disposed of. The cleaners are very friendly, and you can check up to a week in advance via the app which day they will be coming.

Finally, the price is something that stood out to me. While this was more than finding a room in a shared flat somewhere in the city, the amount that you get for your money makes it more than worth the cost. All utilities, internet, and cleaning services are included in the price, and you don’t need to go through the hassle of organising bills yourself. You also get to choose which kind of room you would like, depending on if you are happy to share for a more affordable price, or you can opt for a studio flat, maybe even with a balcony. It’s also important to consider all the facilities that are free to use being included in the price, the gym alone saving the cost of a membership elsewhere.

I have had a great experience living here, and I highly recommend it to others, especially other international students.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/a/ACg8ocLEQbDpbsjPNUNlQPlxH-NisZNSlO5hOLMHpquP3WDcTW97doU=s128-c0x00000000-cc-rp-mo
5
I have been living in this dorm since November of 2025 and it has been a fantastic experience! Salamanca, Spain, is one of Europe’s most historic and student-focused cities, best known for its energetic atmosphere and prestigious academic heritage, shaped by a large population of Spanish and international students. The city is known for its lively plazas, tapas culture, and social life, where students gather in spots like Plaza Mayor, often considered one of the most beautiful squares in Spain.

Home to the Salamanca and leading institutions such as the University of Salamanca and the Pontifical University of Salamanca, the city has been a major centre of learning since the 13th century, making it one of the oldest university cities in Europe. Its golden sandstone architecture gives it a distinctive warm glow, especially at sunset, and the compact city centre makes it easy for students to explore on foot. Salamanca is especially appealing for those seeking an immersive academic experience in a historic yet lively setting.
