The best aspects were the level of safety (24 hour reception, multiple card swipe areas), as well as the community feel since it’s student accommodation. The rooms were affordable and walking distance from old town. I also appreciated the lounge area with couches, pool table, projector screen etc. The shared kitchens were also full of essential appliances and great views. I think the rooms were tidy and comfortable overall, but I do acknowledge the beds and bathrooms/shower might be small for more than one person. I also think maybe some extra signs could be placed to help guide customers in and out of the main lounge area as it can be a bit confusing with all of the fire exits. And lastly, the biggest downside in my opinion was the paper thin walls which can make it tricky to get to sleep.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/a/ACg8ocLvUrfWqbmukqYqPo3ZM1T2P5PFvncRNqiw1KUK6rnfk_nDQQ=s128-c0x00000000-cc-rp-mo
5
Salisbury Court is decent for a great price. Stayed 5 days for the Fringe and his modern place is perfect, location wise to city centre and many options of restaurants and cafe as you walk toward the city centre. Feeling safe in the area. The room and hall way and kitchen were clean. Clean towels were provided, but only had 2 pillows for us as a couple and did ask for more. Staff at reception works 24/7 and are very accomodating. Note: Its a student accomodation, therefore no TVs in the room. Just bed, cupboard, study table, shower, toilet and power outlets.
I love the view from our room and would wake up with such relaxing view.

Just only downside, shower in Bldg 3 Floor 3 in room A - it was flooding so had to shower with the lowest pressure. Else I highly recommend this Salisbury Court.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/a/ACg8ocIxq-5yIDDaThDybH2SXjM0vYYiDuY-tAaSBx7j7_Rw1CtWOA=s128-c0x00000000-cc-rp-mo-ba5
5
Nice place / staff. Can a booking be cancelled shortly after it is made?

Yes. A seven-day cooling-off period applies following the booking confirmation, as long as the keys have not been collected. During this time, a full refund of the deposit and advance rent is available. Specific rules may differ for tenancies located in Wales.

What happens if the cooling-off period has passed?

The tenant is responsible for all rent payments unless a replacement student (who meets the provider's eligibility criteria) is found or a new lease is signed.

How do replacement tenants affect the contract?

If before the start date, the provider may choose to accept the replacement, re-list the room, or use a waiting list. The original tenant is released seven days after this occurs. However, if it’s after the start date, the tenant is released once the new occupant's lease begins. If the room is already moved into, a £50 cleaning and prep fee is deducted.

What if a first-year student misses their university grades?

Under the "No Place No Pay" policy, first-year students can be released if they fail to meet entry requirements or if they switch universities after exceeding their grades. Formal proof (UCAS confirmation or a rejection letter) must be provided within seven days of result publication to receive a full refund.

The above cancellation policy is a synopsis of the property’s cancellation policy. There could be a few changes incorporated from time to time. Hence, we recommend you review the full Accommodation Contract for a comprehensive understanding of their cancellation policies.
