A special mention to Lou for her kindness and guidance in helping me find the perfect room. I would highly recommend Hampton Square, especially to international students moving away from home. My only suggestions would be better window privacy at night and improved move-in assistance. Basically, the staffs here were very welcoming and eager to help us and the reception is available for 24/7. Also the staff often took place some activities for all residents, it was so exciting to make some friends with freshers.
However, sometimes your roommates could be uncomfortable due to the reason that they uncertainly made the common kitchen area messy and unclean or refrigerator area could be occupied without informing. In addition, the room size is quite small as pictured. The position is not as convenient as other student accommodations in city centre.
But in total, the renting price (£200 pw) was reasonable and fair if you were looking for a rental urgently and budget is not so sufficient.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/a-/ALV-UjXI2dFwtcM1cEvRQx2iJANgiynvXp75oNnICpca9H4NsEcLk9NM=s128-c0x00000000-cc-rp-mo-ba3
5
I have had a very positive experience staying here. The cleanliness and hygiene standards have been excellent throughout my stay, and I've never had any complaints in that regard. I have an ensuite room, which is comfortable. The accommodation is generally quiet and peaceful making it a great environment for both studying and relaxing. The 24-hour security provides reassurance and peace of mind, knowing that support is always available if needed. The corridors are consistently kept clean, which reflects the overall upkeep of the property. I also appreciate having a laundry room on site, although the cost is a little higher than I would prefer.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/a/ACg8ocLKibi5X2-MKq8DauHwZUehGuKhO5_BZzEtFL1wDcLv5UyOww=s128-c0x00000000-cc-rp-mo
5
Unbelievable.I Would say the maintenance job is incredibly fast and effectively done by Matt.He comes with repaired stuffs every time and being polite. And almost every kind of maintenance problems can be solved. Southampton is a historic port city on England’s south coast, with a heritage shaped by maritime trade and its position on the waterfront. Its history is visible in landmarks such as the medieval Bargate, one of the best-known surviving parts of the city’s old defences, and Tudor House and Garden, which offers a glimpse into domestic life in Southampton over several centuries.

The city’s maritime history is also explored at SeaCity Museum, where exhibitions cover Southampton’s connections to the Titanic and the experiences of the people involved in its story. Beyond its historic sites, Southampton has shopping areas, cultural venues, and waterfront spaces, giving students opportunities to explore the city’s heritage and contemporary life outside their studies.
