What is the cooling-off period for a new booking?

A 7-day window is provided immediately after booking, during which a cancellation qualifies for a full refund.

What happens if a cancellation is requested after the cooling-off period but before move-in?

The resident remains liable for rent payments until a replacement tenant is found, subject to contract approval and provider rules.

Can a booking be cancelled after moving into the property?

Yes, but post-move-in cancellations must adhere to strict contractual notice periods and early termination clauses.

Under what circumstances can a deposit be withheld?

The deposit may be retained if the contract is breached or if the cancellation occurs outside permitted policy windows.

What occurs if a resident fails to show up on the scheduled start date?

Missing the move-in date by 5 to 7 days without prior notice can result in booking cancellation, and rent liability may still apply.

Is it possible to cancel the agreement if a visa application is rejected?

Yes. Many providers honour a "No Visa, No Pay" policy, which allows penalty-free cancellation if official proof of rejection is provided.

What happens if a student does not receive university admission?

If a "No Place, No Pay" policy is active, the booking can be cancelled without penalty by providing official proof of rejection from the institution.

The above cancellation policy is a synopsis of the property’s cancellation policy. There could be a few changes incorporated from time to time. Hence, we recommend you review the full Accommodation Contract for a comprehensive understanding of their cancellation policies.

Why is a security deposit required, and when is it returned?

The deposit secures the room and protects against property damage. It is refunded after move-out, provided the room is undamaged, and all contract terms are fulfilled.

    How are payment plans structured?

Payment structures depend on whether the contract is for a short-stay or long-stay duration, and the plan is selected during the booking process.

    What payment methods are accepted?

Payments are standardly accepted via credit cards, debit cards, or bank transfers.

Can rent be paid over time, and what happens if a payment is late?

Rent is typically split into multiple scheduled instalments. Late payments may result in administrative reminder charges or late fees.

What is a guarantor, and what happens if one cannot be provided?

A UK-based guarantor is someone who agrees to cover rent if the resident fails to pay. Without a guarantor, the full rental amount must usually be paid up front.
