Nottingham is known for its legendary tales of Robin Hood and its fascinating underground cave network. The legacy of Robin Hood is rooted in stories set in Sherwood Forest, where he famously defied the Sheriff of Nottingham, becoming a lasting symbol of rebellion and local pride. Below its streets are over 900 sandstone caves that have been carved over many centuries and once used as homes, workshops, storage spaces, or air-raid shelters. <\/p>

As a lively student city, Nottingham is home to the University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University, with green spaces like Wollaton Park and cultural landmarks such as Nottingham Castle, making it an exciting and well-rounded place to live and study.<\/p>
