Dundee, the UK’s first UNESCO City of Design, is famous for its video game heritage, including Grand Theft Auto, and for its rich historic legacy. The city blends history and culture, from the RRS Discovery, built in Dundee for Antarctic exploration, to the traditional Dundee Cake and Dundee Law, a volcanic plug that has held strategic and cultural significance from ancient BC through to the modern era.

It’s also a student city, home to a large academic community and a creative atmosphere. Recent waterfront regeneration has modernised the city, offering new cultural and social spaces along the River Tay and enhancing both student life and overall quality of life.
