Sheffield is a lively city in the north of England that mixes its old industrial roots with a fresh, modern feel. It was once called "The Steel City", but now it's known for its lots of green areas, with more than 2 million trees and a third of the city inside the Peak District National Park.

The city has a strong arts and culture scene, and it's famous for its music history, being the place where famous bands like the Arctic Monkeys started. Its nightlife is lively and cheap, with many clubs and small yet comfy venues, especially in areas popular with students. Sheffield generally has a big student population, thanks to having two major universities.

Where can I find the full termination policy?
It is available in the booking section and on the documents page. You must read and understand it before confirming your booking.

Can I cancel within the initial period?
Yes. You may cancel within 7 days of accepting the offer or paying the deposit (whichever occurs first), provided you have not moved into the property. If eligible, your security deposit will be refunded in full.

How long does it take to receive the deposit refund?
Refunds are normally processed within 28 working days of cancellation. If the deposit has already been secured with a third-party protection scheme, the refund may take up to 60 days due to the scheme’s processing time. In this case, the refund will be issued directly by the scheme and may require a repayment reference provided by them. The landlord cannot influence or speed up this process. Deposits are legally required to be protected in a third-party scheme.

What happens if I cancel after the 7-day initial period?
You remain liable for rent on a weekly basis, including any part-week, until the room is re-let.

When will I be released from the agreement after late cancellation?
You will only be released once the room has been successfully re-let and any required release payment or fees have been paid.

The above cancellation policy is a synopsis of the property’s cancellation policy. There could be a few changes incorporated from time to time. Hence, we recommend you review the full Accommodation Contract for a comprehensive understanding of their cancellation policies.
