Also my flat in Turner Court has one combined fridge freezer for 5 people! Struggle with that lol x

Is a bit of a trek for Newcastle students, not at all for Northumbria students. Most staff are lovely and pleasant to interact with, freebies are sparser than it seems reading these reviews.

Desk is GREAT size, as an architecture student it is amazing to be able to have that much space to work, and a lot of storage to keep it all.

Circuit laundry is EXPENSIVE here in comparison to other accommodation at £3.80 for a wash and £2.30 for a dry. I recommend going to the laundromat across the street or your flatmates circuit laundry.

Flatmates really make it or break it, have found friends for life here.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/a/ACg8ocJtknqHIcVg6TmtWFs9gB41RIanmuxA7p-F4XGnOYRmLjXm_rCn=s128-c0x00000000-cc-rp-mo-ba5
4
Quite area.

Newcastle is a nice and beautiful city in the North East of England, known for having a really friendly atmosphere and a big student community. It's the home of Newcastle University and Northumbria University, both of which are conveniently located near the city centre. This makes getting around really easy for all the students, whether you're walking to lectures, exploring the shops, or heading out with friends.

The city also has a lot of things to do, from historic sites like Newcastle Castle and the iconic Tyne Bridges to modern art galleries and lively music venues. Plus, the cost of living here is generally more affordable than in many other UK cities, which is a big plus for students. You'll find plenty of parks and green spaces for chilling out, and the stunning coast is just a short Metro ride away.

Can a booking be cancelled for a full refund?

Yes, if the request is made within seven days of paying the Advance Rental Payment.

What happens if a student misses the 7-day window?

The student remains liable for the contract unless they provide proof of a visa rejection, failed grades, or medical emergency within 72 hours of the event.

Can a student leave after moving in?

Only if they have withdrawn from university or have a 60-day medical suspension. This requires four weeks' notice, and the departure must fall on the same day of the week the tenancy started.

Can a replacement tenant be found?

Yes. If the student does not meet the withdrawal criteria, they must find a suitable replacement. A £50 fee applies, and rent is owed until the new tenant takes over.

When can booking be cancelled by us?

If the applicant fails to sign the contract within a week, fails background/immigration checks, or provides false information.

The above cancellation policy is a synopsis of the property’s cancellation policy. There could be a few changes incorporated from time to time. Hence, we recommend you review the full Accommodation Contract for a comprehensive understanding of their cancellation policies.

What is the purpose of the £150 payment?

Can the move-in date or room be changed?

Room swaps and extensions are allowed for free before the start date (if available), but the contract length cannot be reduced.
