I’m in awe of having such an ideal experience. Sharon Clifford has set the bar so high for an accommodation manager; it is rare anyone will be able to provide a service to match her level. Sharon has been like a mother to me and as a reserved person that means a lot. Sharon really goes above and beyond for the students and she’s so caring and considerate. To say she does her job role justice is an understatement. I honestly believe she deserves a salary raise. She is such a huge asset to NOW and you really should appreciate this star among you. Thank you Sharon for being so amazing, I won’t forget you and the incredible experience you provided students with. It’s not everyday you meet such incredible people who genuinely care and know exactly how to treat you. Thank you so much. For any agreements finalised on or after August 1st, this window is reduced to two days.
To exercise this right, a written notice must be submitted to the residence team within the specified timeframe. Valid cancellations will result in a refund of the Advanced Rent within 28 days. This period is void once services have commenced or if the booking occurs after the contract's official start date.
Failed Grades and Visa Refusals
Cancellations outside the cooling-off period are permitted if a student fails to secure a university place or a required visa. The resident must provide written notice along with supporting evidence (such as a UCAS notification) within 72 hours of receiving the results.
Upon verification, the cancellation will be processed, and all payments, including Advanced Rent, will be refunded within 28 days.
Replacement Tenants
Alternatively, a contract may be terminated if a suitable replacement tenant is found to take over the remaining term.
